The founding of Tastardi Tiles, high-quality wall tiles, is the new piece in a varied mosaic, a natural extension of Creazioni Luciano that starts from tradition to shape a new, modern, functional world.
Our goal is to create unique coverings by mixing the production techniques of the original manufacture, “embossing,” for example, of which we are a world leader, with hand decorations that do not involve any silkscreen or mechanical design and make each tile a different piece.
With Tastardi Tiles, myths become matter and color; the richness of ancient legends and Arab-Norman-inspired chromatics are synthesized in sinuous, modern lines and point to essentiality, shaping environments, enriching spaces, public and private.
Jet-painted strokes become the artist’s signature of our coverings, the “pennellati Tastardi”; mermaids, stars, flowers, splendid details set in ceramics, embellish the modularity of the coverings; abstract patterns, engraved or in relief, recall the rocks of the Amalfi Coast, the blue skies and the sea of the coast and alternate with ancient symbols; cold and warm colors tell at the same time the roots and the future, the boldness and the poetry of an ancient land.
